About BÉTTE
BÉTTE was born in December 2019, in the quiet corner of my own bedroom.
What started as a personal need quickly became a dream taking shape. I began sewing swimwear for myself because I couldn’t find pieces that truly matched what I was looking for, fixed sizing, precise cuts, and silhouettes that felt both flattering and personal. I wanted swimwear that fit not just the body, but the vision.
When I shared my first creations with friends, their reaction exceeded every expectation. Within the very first week, the orders began. One order turned into another, and slowly, a growing community started forming around BÉTTE.
As the number of clients and followers increased, I knew it was time to take the next step. After 6 months working from home, I rented my first store space, a small but powerful milestone that marked the beginning of something much bigger than I had imagined.
With each passing day, the demand continued to grow. There came a moment when I could no longer manage everything alone. Hiring my first employee was both exciting and emotional, it meant BÉTTE was no longer just an idea, it was becoming a real brand.
A year later, I made one of the most meaningful decisions of all. I invited my mother to join me. At the time, she was working as a production manager in a manufacturing company. Together, the three of us worked tirelessly, and every day brought more orders, more trust, and more belief. I could hardly believe that my dream was unfolding before my eyes.
Even the name BÉTTE carries a piece of my heart. I wanted something deeply personal, something that belonged to me. “Beta” is what my brother used to call me when we were little and from that childhood nickname, BÉTTE was born.
Today, we operate from two workspaces and have a team of six talented women in our atelier. Despite the significant growth and increasing demand, we remain committed to what has always been our strongest point: fully customized swimwear, tailored to fixed measurements and individual preferences for every client.
Maintaining this standard hasn’t always been easy as our community continues to grow, but it is, and always will be, the soul of BÉTTE.
